The Judgment of God
Study: Why is there a judgment? Who does it begin with? And when does it begin?
The judgment must take place to vindicate the character of God, both before unfallen worlds and angels, and redeemed mankind. ALL Gods Creation must see the “JUSTICE” of God and be fully convinced of His character of “LOVE” for the beings He has created.
Gods justice is meted out through this “love”, it is a “judicial” decree based on Gods character, NOT one of vengeance. The law of Heaven is the law of “love”, therefore Gods Law, both written and unwritten encompasses this LAW of love, and in order for that purest of love to be vindicated before ALL the creation, the justice of God must be understood in regards to His character. Because He is a HOLY GOD, all his acts must be seen for the “truth” they witness too. Since God is TRUTH and LOVE, His JUSTICE meted out through His judgment, must therefore also reflect this purest love and justice before the universe.
Remember God does not have LOVE, He is the very essence of LOVE. He is LOVE personified. Because of this His judgment must be seen in the truest light of fairness based on His purest of love for His creation. SINCE HE was accused by Lucifer as unjust.
1Jn 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
When does this judgment begin is the question? This judgment begins first with those who claim to be Christians. Those who from Adams' time to todays’ date, that claim “Born Again” characters through surrender to Jesus Christ.
OUESTION: Does this judgment occur at the last day for Gods people?
ANSWER: NO!
QUESTION: When then, does Gods people come before the “bar” of God? When do their records in Heaven come up for “review?”
ANSWER: Before Jesus’ Second coming, ALL those who claim Him as their SAVIOR, will have “passed” before the “Judgment Bar” of Heaven, and therefore be determined as “Safe to Save.” THE JUDGMENT IS OCCURING RIGHT NOW FOR GODS' PEOPLE!
1Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: (the Church) and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them (the un-Churched or Unbelievers) that obey not the gospel of God?
So the “judgment” begin first with those whose name are written in the “book of life”, to ascertain if their names should remain, or be “blotted out.”
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Your name can be “blotted out” of the “book of life”, there’s “NO SUCH THING”, as “ONCE SAVED, always SAVED.” We MUST overcome SIN in our lives, and allow Jesus to form within us His “Holy character”, or we will NOT stand before the “Bar of God innocent”, and will be judged unworthy, as we have NOT the righteous robe of Christ character covering our life.
QUESTION: What then happens to Christians when Jesus comes, if they are NOT judged at that time? ARE they judged before He appears in the clouds of heaven?
ANSWER: Christians are at that time, both the living and the resurrected believers, are as the scripture is plain, redeemed from the Earth by the angels, and caught up to Jesus to meet Him in the air. He will NOT set foot on this Earth when He returns the Second time, but will do so when He returns the Third time, after the “thousand years.” Gods people are “judged before Jesus comes back the second time.

ANSWER: Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, [Heavens reward is NOT given at death to ANYONE, NOT even Moses who we know is in Heaven, was his reward given to him at death. It was after he was resurrected by Jesus after his death, that his reward was given. Some were given it without death, Enoch, Elijah others will wait until the resurrection and the consummation. But God does NOT reward anyone before the time appointed.] to give every man according as his work shall be.
Mat 13:49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
The determination as to who is “wicked” and who is “just” will ALREADY have been determined. The harvest of this Earth is not going to take days or months. The scripture says always “in that day”, in reference to the return of Jesus. The judgment of Gods people also determines, who is NOT found in the “book of life”, at that time there is really NO NEED to judge further. Whoever is NOT found there is judged ALREADY, before Jesus comes.
QUESTION” How many “judgments” are there?
ANSWER: Only TWO, one for the people of God, and that takes place before Jesus returns. The OTHER after the 1000 years are complete, it called the "Great White Throne Judgment, which is actually the Punishment phase", in this judgment the VERDICT will have ALREADY been rendered BEFORE the actual Judgment takes place. This VERDICT happens TWICE, once during the process of judging Gods people. Which by the very act of the same, excludes Gods people from DESTRUCTION, BUT condems the wicked. Then again at the last judgment when the 1000 years are completed. The inhabitants of Heaven will have FULL knowledge of the VERDICT of the "wicked" prior to the actual carrying out of the judicial punishment.
Most people are looking to the “future judgment”, and there is NOT going to be one, other than what it termed in theology “the Great White Throne” judgment. It’s when ALL the resurrected “wicked” stand before God, to receive their “just reward”, in the lake of fire. They have already been judged before they come forth from their graves, simply by the fact that, the determination as to who remains in the “Book of Life” also determines who is NOT there as well. [Therefore they stand CONDEMED. However they ALSO will be judged during the 1000 years by the "redeemed of God", as they go through the process of understanding Gods' "Justice"]
Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, [The FATHER] from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. [the ELEMENTS dissolve away]
Romans 3:23: The entire human race is guilty before God . . .
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
So therefore ALL must come before the judgment bar to determine their status. This judgement for Gods people began in the year 1844 A.D. and has been ongoing since that time. It was declared when Gods people understood the prophecies that had been lost to the church during the persecution for 1260 years from 538 A.D. up to 1798 when the Roman empire was defeated by France under Napoleon Bonaparte’s General Louis Alexandre Berthier
The THREE ANGELS MESSAGES as written in Revelation 14:6-12 below were restored to Gods people in the 19th century around the year 1843-44. The first proclamation was given by the first angel at that time heralding the judgment hour message had come at that time. Jesus moved in the heavenly temple from the “holy place” where He had been ministering as our “Great High Priest”, into the “Most Holy Place” in the heavenly sanctuary to begin the investigation of the Books of Heaven, particularly the “Book of Life.” That’s why He says He is bringing His reward with Him, to give to those on Earth. The judgment of Gods people will have ALREADY been completed when He comes the second time to take His people home.
The First Angels Message:
Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: [NOT coming but has COME at that declaration] and worship [A clarion CALL for TRUE worship] him [Jesus and NOT apostate Christianity] that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. [The CREATOR!]
This is a clarion “call” to the inhabitants of Earth, to “wake up” and “walk before” God in spirit and in truth. A call to let the Earth dwellers KNOW that the judgment “hour” had begun.
This declaration of the “FIRST ANGEL” was fulfilled in the year 1843, but was NOT fully understood until around the year 1844 after the “great disappointment” of October 22nd of that same year. The people of God returned then to the scriptures, and discovered the meaning of the below verse more clearly, and under stood it, to mean the sanctuary in heaven was implied, and NOT the Earth as a sanctuary as first thought.
This verse also eludes to the FOURTH commandment concerning the Sabbath Day, since that commandment is the only one of the TEN that identifies the CREATOR, and His REALM the creation. It’s also the only commandment that deals with TIME. It goes hand in hand with the FIRST angels message.
