Come "Out of her" My People ! ! !

To PERGAMOS: the third church along the postal route in Asia Minor.

Rev 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; [The Word of God, Jesus is the WORD of God]
Rev 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: [Now the church has become corrupt, with paganism mixed with Christianity] and thou holdest fast my name, [Talk a good talk] and hast not denied my faith, [they did acknowledge Jesus] even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, [Church murder] where Satan dwelleth. [The Devil was in control of the church of Pergamos]
Rev 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, [Also the doctrine of greed and compromise] who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock [which was to get Israel to sin against God through compromise] before the children of Israel, to eat things [forbidden] sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. [Spiritual Adultery against God]
Rev 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, [Spiritual compromise] which thing I hate. [Because it makes you “lukewarm”]
Rev 2:16  Repent; [STOP IT] or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. [They will be revealed by Gods Word as FALSE believers]
Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Each church period is progressively deteriorating into worldly lust and sin, getting darker and darker spiritually, and God is warning them. He is also telling them to repent, to overcome. He did so, and He expects us to do so as well. That was the meaning behind this admonition. Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of [from] me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: [humble] and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. [It’s easy to be nice, and a lot harder to be mean.
