Come "OUT" of her "My People!"

Rev 2:1 Unto the angel [leader, i.e. messenger] of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he [Jesus] that holdeth the seven stars [Church Leadership] in his right hand, who walketh in the midst [or among] of the seven golden candlesticks; [or the Seven Churches]

To EPHESUS: the fledgling church!

Rev 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
Rev 2:3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. [the pure church at the beginning, who worked to build the church]
Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. [the world is creeping in]
Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, [beginning compromise] and repent, and do the first works; [return to apostolic purity] or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except [unless] thou repent.
Rev 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, [which is compromise] which I also hate.
Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

The early church had begun to allow “compromise” into its ranks, and Jesus was sending a warning for them to repent of what they hated, Even though they hated compromise, they were allowing it into the church, and Jesus told them thay had lost their “first love” of purity and uncompromised fidelity. If continued they would gradually get worse and worse, and that’s what happened with the next church addressed. The church progressively continued to grow cold and allow compromise.
