Come "Out of her" My People ! ! !
To SMYRNA: the 2nd church along the old postal route.
Rev 2:8 And unto the angel [messenger, leader] of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, [they were to suffer from ten years of persecution] and poverty, (but thou art rich) [they have Him] and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, [phony church members have now taken over the church] and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. [Wicked Hypocrites]
Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: [they were to suffer persecution] behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, [through evil men] that ye may be tried; [tested on His behalf, not mans’] and ye shall have tribulation ten days: [or TEN YEARS] be thou faithful unto death, [be willing to die for your faith] and I will give thee a crown of life.
Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, [to the one that understands] let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Take NOTE how each admonition ends with a “consummation event” in underline, that concerns the New Jerusalem. This is how you know that these admonition from the Lord involves the church for ALL time, from the beginning until Jesus come back to take us home.
